History and Reputation

Orrill’s Auction is a family-owned auction house in Sylmar, California, serving the Los Angeles area with weekly online estate auctions, consignments, abandonment auctions, and on-site auctions.

Our auction history in Los Angeles dates back to at least 1928, just before the Great Depression. Orrill’s was one of several auction houses that helped form the historic auction corridor along West Adams Boulevard. Through changing economies, earthquakes, civil unrest, and the continued growth of Los Angeles, our family has worked to preserve the values passed down by my great-great-grandfather: honesty, integrity, and hard work. Today, we operate in the northernmost part of the City of Los Angeles, helping families, estates, fiduciaries, businesses, and professionals sell personal property through public auction.

We sell a wide range of estate merchandise, antiques, furniture, art, jewelry, vehicles, collectibles, rugs, decor, china, pottery, clothing, tools, and general household goods. Most auctions are conducted online, with detailed photos, descriptions, public preview information, clear auction terms, and scheduled pickup after each sale.
